Sloan School Pump Station (Murrysville)

Description: The capacity of each pump at this station is 315 GPM or 0.454 MGD @ a total dynamic head of 74 feet. Run time data collected for this station indicates an average daily dry weather flow (during September 1-30, 2009) of approximately 0.113 MGD and a maximum daily wet weather flow (during April 3, 2009) of 0.454 MGD.

This station serves approximately 407 homes. During 2009 and 2010, a one-lot development (Les Chateaux) and a twenty two-lot development (Shag Bark Grove) is planned to be tied into this station.  The projected average daily dry weather flow and maximum daily wet weather flow to this station in two (2) years are estimated to be 0.118 MGD and 0.454 MGD, respectfully.

This pump station is owned and operated by the FTMSA and is located in the Municipality of Murrysville almost at the end of School Road North and is .33 acre. This pump station was built and started operation in 1970.
